Get a DJ for Your Small Wedding!

Ed was the DJ for our wedding and it was seriously the BEST day of our lives. We had a really small wedding, only 30 people, and we were debating if we even wanted to have a DJ since there were so few people. I am SO GLAD we did. Ed got everyone up and dancing, and the dance floor was one of the most fun parts of the wedding. 100% recommend having Ed as a DJ – he met with us before to truly get to know us and delivered on his promise for an epic night. We had a Jewish ceremony, and Ed was even able to incorporate the Hora and into our reception with our small group! Seriously the most epic night.

Ed helped us with our May wedding in so many ways! I havent organized a wedding previously and Ed helped me out with keeping the flow of the event and ceremony and had great ideas for both timing of the different parts of the wedding and the music, of course.
The whole evening went so well. I felt like it was perfect and once it got started I didnt have to worry about anything (except to “go over here for pictures”, then “go over there for pictures” haha).

Ed was so friendly and professional throughout the entire process of hiring him and planning our wedding. He always responded to me right away and took every request I made of him to heart, as well as suggesting things that might make my special day go smoother. I have very specific music tastes and Ed made sure to incorporate all songs I requested of him at the exact perfect times during the reception. His timing was impeccable and the songs he chose fit perfectly with our style of music because he really took the time to listen to us. He did a fantastic job of keeping things flowing so there was not a single dull moment at my wedding. And when the dancing started everybody was on the dance floor having a blast until the very last song. I’m so glad I chose Ed for my wedding. I would give 10 stars if I could!

We chose Ed to DJ our wedding on Big Island this past October and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. After reviewing a few options, we reached out to Ed for pricing and the price he quoted for the services offered was more than fair considering his services also included lighting. Ed provided a very clear breakdown of what was included in his quote and never pushed us to add anything we weren’t comfortable adding.
Regarding his services, Ed went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We asked him for recommendations regarding lighting and he made the extra effort to stop by our venue to take a look before providing his recommendation. Additionally, he set up calls with us to discuss our playlist and also order of events. With covid restrictions, we had to make some last minute updates and he was very accommodating.
On the day of our wedding Ed was on time with setup and everything went just as expected. In short, we are SO glad we chose Ed for our wedding. He really went above and beyond our expectations and we would hands down recommend him for any other wedding.

DJ Ed Geer came highly recommended to us by our wedding coordinator and what a GREAT recommendation it was. Once Ed was confirmed, he immediately reached out and started to coordinate with us for our wedding. He spent time on the phone getting to know us and what we expected from him during our special day. At no point did he try to hijack our music choices, but instead made it all about us and what made us happy. He took the time to establish a timeline for the entire wedding event and what music would be played accordingly. Also, he ensured that he had the correct pronunciations for all names. He requested we compile a list of music to be played during our cocktail hour/reception. Once we provided him with the music, he painted a picture with music as he would say.
DJ Ed Geer took the time to meet us for our rehearsal and go over the wedding day details. On our wedding day, he maintained a constant coordination with our coordinator to ensure that we stuck to our timeline. He did a great job making sure our guests stayed engaged throughout the wedding with our selection of music. Overall, DJ Ed was amazing, and we are so happy he was able to DJ our wedding. Ed did my wedding on the Big Island of Hawaii in September, and did an amazing job!
My wedding was postponed 3 times due to Covid19 and Ed was so easy to work with and communicate with throughout the crazy circumstances- he was always very responsive, followed up, and and he was so fun to work with. We hosted a welcome reception at a local restaurant for all the guests and he did karaoke which everyone loved. He also did our lighting for the wedding reception, so he truly is full-service. Had our wedding in October…Ed did an excellent job with DJ entertainment for our reception. He was very attentive with prep phone calls in advance of our wedding to go over details and to go over what type of “music vibe” we were going for. We were able to send him a list of preferred songs which he did a great job with mixing throughout the night along with keeping our guests entertained. He even surprised us when some guests wanted to dance to Mexican music and low and behold Ed came through since he already had the right jams in his arsenal. Ed made our wedding memorable and one our guests will not forget- there was even a dance battle! From our experience, you can’t go wrong with Ed!

I’m so glad…

I’m so glad that we used Ed Geers for our DJ and to set up our dance floor. Our dance floor was amazing. He set it up perfectly, which was on grass so he had to put down an extra base floor. It was very smooth and our guests loved it. His DJ services were top notch and very professional. He helped us outline our whole schedule of events, which makes it very easy for the bride. We knew what he was doing and really wants to help the bride by making it super easy, which he does! He’s also a great announcer and kept the reception moving. He was very organized and helped keep me (the bride) organized as well. Highly recommend!!

The BEST!

As the bride, I felt comfortable with Ed from the very beginning due to him taking the time to chat with me before-hand and making sure he captured the feeling we were hoping for – he not only fulfilled our hopes, but brought such a fun, easy going energy to our special day. Ed is truly amazing! He came to visit out wedding venue the day before and made some helpful suggestions on where to set up the dance floor and speakers – and he was so right! The day of, Ed set up all of his equipment for the ceremony only for it to start raining! He was so accommodating to the quick change of plans. Ed had to RE-set up all of his equipment out of the rain and he did it with such ease. The ceremony continued and the music played just as planned making those moments so special. Ed was able to allow everything to roll so smoothly from the ceremony music to cocktail hour, dinner, cake cutting, first dances, and then partying the night away! We couldn’t have done it without him. I would recommend Ed Geer for any wedding or large event – you will not regret it!

High Quality, Professional, Reliable, Easy to Work With

My mom literally booked Ed for our DJ and emcee a couple days before our Wedding at Anna Ranch on 5/10/15!!!! We had an ukulelist for three hours and was going to play the boombox afterwards!! I’m soo thankful we didn’t and got Ed as our DJ instead!!! He was very professional, typed out his own program and all 🙂 His music, lighting, sounds, and everything was amazing and exceeded my expectations!!! (Mind you, I’ve been to plenty of parties with crappy dj’s that just play chicken scratch!!! I’ve even booked one before 🙁 Which is why I was very hesitant to spend a lot of money on a dj) Ohh Boy was I wrong!!! Ed had everyone dancing!!! Even the guest who don’t ever dance, we’re dancing!!! It’s three days past my wedding and my feet are still sore from dancing all night. Even lost my voice screaming soo much!!! Ed was Great!

We used Ed Geer’s service for our Waimea wedding at Anna’s Ranch. I had some unusal requests for dinner music (old country) and Ed fulfilled my every request. Having a smaller wedding I was concerned about keeping people on the dance floor, Ed was able to read the crowd and there was never a lull on the dance floor. He was so easy and reliable to work with, highly recommend!

Ed Geer is very accommodating and reliable. We can tell that he loves his job and he is very professional and personable. Ed aims to please – and that he did. We provided him with lists of songs to play during our reception, from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. We selected several must-play songs. We trusted Ed to sense how the guests were reacting to songs and to play songs that he felt would be hits with our guests. We felt he did an excellent job. He made the process very simple with low stress. He even recognized and went out of his way to greet our parents at the grocery store, weeks after our wedding. Very pleased with Ed Geer!

Ed was fantastic the bride and groom live in the U.K. the event was planned by the Brides Aunt who lived in PA and the actual wedding was held in Hawaii Ed kept in touch via email and telephone nothing was too much trouble I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for an event

The night turned out awesome…

My husband and I got married on February 14, 2014 and had our reception in Keouhou Bay. It was a destination wedding and Ed Geers/Force Enterprises was recommended to us by our wedding planner. We are glad we decided to go with Ed. It was a pleasure working with Ed. We talked over the phone prior to the wedding about the reception outline of events and met with him in person the week prior to the wedding. He had a lot of great ideas and advice as he has a lot of years of experience. We had quite a full agenda for the night and a lot of last minute changes to our reception outline. For example, adding my parents’ serenade to us, additional sound bites to the mother/son dance, and changes to who was in the wedding party. There were a few hiccups but overall Ed did a great job implementing our changes and ideas. The night turned out awesome and we had a great time working with Ed. He was very responsive and very professional. We would recommend Force Enterprises for your wedding as well.

Ed is the man!

Ed is the man! Played what we wanted and he came up with some great new ideas. Funny story… On the Garder toss everyone went for it and crashed in to Ed’s Dj table knocking the music completely out and his equipment to the ground. Ed was completely professional during this accident and we help pick it up and plugged it in and we were dancing again! I defiantly would recommend Ed to anyone. I loved it!!!

I am a professional photographer so I have been to my fair share of weddings. This being my own wedding, I knew what kind of a DJ I wanted – Ed went above and beyond for our day. We live in Saskatchewan so planning a wedding in Hawaii was a challenge in it’s self. However, Ed was so easy to work with. He made sure we got exactly what we wanted. He was very specific in what he wanted from us in terms of what kind of music etc. I can’t say enough great things about him. He played the best music that we actually wanted to hear. The dance floor was full the entire wedding – I loved it!!

I was in need of some good uplighting for my wedding and I had heard good things about The Force Enterprises from many friends on the Big Island. I contacted Ed, the owner and told him my ideas. He came and set it up the way I wanted and made the venue look even better than I imagined. We also used his services for some of our DJ/entertainment. He was very professional, helpful and easy to work with. He had a great feel for the ‘big picture’ and just helped tie everything together smoothly.
